Happy Birthday Uncle Ryan!

Hi Granny! It has been such a fun few days! My Grammy and Grandpa Harold came to visit. We had lots of fun. They babysat me so my Mom and Dad could go to the Yankee Dodger game with Uncle Ryan and Aunt Liz.

We also went to Pasadena to visit our new friends Harold, Jo, and Simone. This is me with Simone and her friend Natalie. We had a blast.

Yesterday we went to see Uncle Ryan and Aunt Liz at their new house to celebrate his birthday. The grownups got to eat pizza - it looked really, really good.

I love you, Granny!

Tummy Time

Hi Granny! My Mom and Dad keep trying to make me do this tummy time silliness. But, honestly Granny, I just don't want to hang out on my stomach. It is incredibly boring. So I just turn over. And then they put me back on my stomach and I turn over again. They can keep trying, but I will continue to roll over onto my back.

I also like to stand a lot these days. My Mom has to hold my hands, but I do all the hard work.

I love you, Granny!

First Day of Work

Hi Granny! Today was my Dad's first day of work. He had a great day and we all think that we made the right decision to move out here.

My Mom and I stayed home most of the day today. She is trying to "sleep train" me. Don't worry, Granny, I'm not a dog and I refuse to be trained. She can try, but that doesn't mean I won't make it hard for her! I mean, really, she expects me to take naps?! Every few hours?! Pshaw! And she better stop thinking I'm going to sleep through the night because that is so not going to happen.

In other news, I want to wish a slightly late happy birthday to my cousin Charles. Eight years old! Maybe you want to check out his website - http://charless-chips.net/ and leave a comment about your favorite type of chip. Granny, my cousin knows all there is to know about salt and vinegar potato chips.

I love you, Granny!

Happy Father's Day!

Hi Granny! I just wanted to wish a Happy Father's Day to my Dad.

He's only been a dad for 12 weeks but he is already really good at it!

I also want to wish a Happy Father's Day to Grandpa Ron and Grandpa Harold and Papa and Uncle Phillip and Uncle Greg. And to Andrew, who is also celebrating his first Father's Day. And to Eric, who is celebrating his first Father's Day as a father of two.

I love all of the special fathers in my life.

I love you, Granny!

San Francisco - Part II

Hi Granny! I wanted to show you all of the cool people I got to see in San Francisco.

Here I am with the groom - congratulations, Bryan.

This is me with Liz. My Mom and Dad told me she was a beautiful bride.

Here are Renee and Ari with me at the rehearsal dinner. I spent a lot of time lifting my shirt up that night.

Here's a better one of me with Renee. I got to spend a lot of time with her that weekend.

Here are Brian (know for some reason as Beezer) and Joanna (the one holding me) and Shawne and Nate. It was really nice meeting them. They all thought I was extremely cute.

And there aren't even any pictures of me with Andy or Jeff or Beth or Mark or Marilyn! I guess what it comes down to is that my parents have some really great friends.

I love you, Granny!

San Francisco - Part I

Hi Granny! Sorry it has been so long since my last update. My Dad starts work on Monday so we have been very busy finishing up the house and spending lots of time together discovering our new town.

Last weekend we went to San Francisco for Bryan and Liz's wedding. We drove there - it took about six hours and was really fun except for one small thing. See the outfit there? Let's just say that the writing is true and that it was my second outfit of the day. The first is in a garbage can at the Mobile on Interstate 5.

Granny, the whole weekend was a lot of fun. Friday night we met Bryan & Liz and Bryan's brother Jay for dinner. Then we met a whole bunch of people at a roof deck bar. Yes, I went to another bar. It was cool - I just slept the whole time. Granny, it was my first time in a taxi!

Sunday was the wedding. Granny, they didn't let me go! They left me with a mean Swiss babysitter who yelled at my Mom a lot. I was so bored that I decided to sleep the whole time.

I love you, Granny!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Hi Granny! Today is my Dad's birthday. We had a really great day. My Mom and I got up early and hung up a birthday sign and made him breakfast. My Mom did most of the cooking, but I helped by being really quiet. Later on we went out for lunch at a Mexican restaurant. Then we walked around the mall for a little bit. We wanted to hang out by the pool but the weather was just a little bit too yucky for that. Tonight we went to a Japanese restaurant where you grill all of your food in the middle of the table. It was very cool.

Granny, we got some big news on the way home from dinner. Sara and Andrew had their little baby girl. I'm pretty sure her name is Lily, but I don't have all the details. Anyway, Lily, if you are reading this, we love you already.

I love you, Granny!

Home Owners!

Hi Granny! Today was a very important day. First we went to the doctor. We showed up at 8:40 only to find out that my Mom screwed up - the appointment was actually for 9:40. Luckily the nice ladies at the desk were able to fit us in. The doctor gave me a clean bill of health and I do not have to go back until I am four months old.

Now on to the really big news. My Aunt Liz and Uncle Ryan are the proud owners of a new house. Granny, it is awesome. I love everything about it - especially the guest room (I plan to sleep there a LOT).

After they showed us the house, we all went out for sushi. Beau Bridges was there, but my Aunt Liz didn't tell anyone until he left. Doesn't she know that I am a starstruck little girl and need to be informed of all star sightings?

Granny, tomorrow is my Dad's birthday. I can't wait! I love you, Granny!

All Around Town

Hi Granny! Yesterday was quite a day. It started out early with a 7:30 am appointment to get a replacement key for our car. The company that moved the car lost it. Just one more thing that went wrong with the move. It is a good thing I like California, Granny, because I don't think my Mom and Dad have the stomach for moving any time soon.

Did I tell you yet that we are going to San Francisco this weekend? My Dad is in his friend Bryan's wedding so we are all going up. I'm excited because I will get to see my friends Andy, Renee and Beaux and will get to meet lots of new friends. Anyway, my Mom and Dad decided that my Dad deserved a nice new suit for the occasion, so we went suit shopping. My Dad is going to be the sharpest looking guy in the place.

Then we went for Chinese food. Granny, I don't know why my Dad got so dressed up - the place wasn't *that* fancy.

I love you, Granny!

Hollywood!

Hi Granny! Yesterday was a very big day for a few reasons.
1. The cable guy came
2. My Mom, Dad and I went to visit Uncle Ryan and Aunt Liz at the Paramount lot
3. I did not throw up

I have to admit that going to the Paramount lot was pretty darn cool. Uncle Ryan picked us up in a golf cart and showed us all around. They are filming tons of stuff there - the big news is the Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts movie.

Then Uncle Ryan showed us the set for his current show True Jackson. It was awesome.

My Dad was most excited about the Craft Services spread.

I love you, Granny! I hope you are having fun in Canada.

Another Trip to the Doctor

Hi Granny! Today we made another trip to the doctor to figure out why I am throwing up so much. Dr. Hsu says there is nothing really wrong with me - either a little bug or acid reflux. We are trying a new formula and I have to eat less formula more often. Guess what, Granny! I didn't cry one time at the doctor. I think having my Dad there made it better.

We still don't have internet, Granny, so we are hanging out in the WiFi Hotspot in our complex. We will finally have internet and cable on Friday. In the meantime, my Mom and Dad are busy setting up the house.

I love you, Granny!

California Girl

Hi Granny! I'm sorry that I haven't been able to update lately - my Mom and Dad moved me into a house that doesn't have internet yet! You'd think they would be a little more considerate about my needs.

Granny, I was very sad to say goodbye to you and Grandpa on Saturday. I had so much fun with you and love you very much. I can't wait until I'm back in August for Kristina's wedding. I'm sorry I threw up on Grandpa and please thank him for being so nice about it. Tell him that I threw up on my Mom a few more times that day and got my Dad really good yesterday.

When we got to the airport, the ladies at security were so nice and kept telling my Mom how cute I am. She was afraid that we were going to miss the flight because they wouldn't let us leave!

When we got to Newark, I finally got to see my Dad! I was so excited that I threw up all over my Mom. We were on a very full flight, but the very nice Continental man arranged for us to have the last row and even gave us a seat for me! That way I got to fly comfortably in my seat instead of on my Mom's lap. I didn't cry at all - I was just so excited to move to California.

When we got off the plane I got to meet Aunt Liz and Uncle Ryan. Granny, I sure do love them. I'm very excited that I get to live so close to them!

They helped us get all of our things to our new house in Rancho Cucamonga. Then we checked into a hotel because we didn't have any of our stuff. The movers ended up coming late Sunday evening, so we stayed that night, too. Yesterday we spent the whole day trying to set up the house. There is a whole lot to do, but I'm sure we will get it done.

I love you, Granny!
