Grammy and Grandpa Harold - Mall Adventures

Hi Granny! Have I mentioned how glad I am that my Dad is home? Last night my Dad and I went out for dinner with my Grammy and Grandpa Harold. My Mom wanted adult time with Annie. Apparently adorable 6 month old girls cramp their style. Whatever.

Today my Mom and I went to the mall with my Grammy. It was tons of fun. She bought me some new clothes at OshGosh!

Granny, guess who we ran into! My Grandpa Harold! He was taking a walk around the mall and almost walked right past us!

I love you, Granny!

Bye, Annie!

Hi Granny! I'm a little sad this morning because my new friend, Annie, had to go home today. I'm really going to miss her.

We hung out and played and had such a nice visit.

The good news is that my Dad is home from his trip and my Grammy and Grandpa Harold are in town.

Annie!

Hi Granny! My friend, Annie, is visiting! My Mom and I went to pick her up on Monday. Look at what we saw on the way home.

Having Annie here is so much fun. She plays with me a lot and my Mom is really happy.

We've gone shopping and out to eat.

And I got to cuddle her belly. Granny, she is having a baby in December!

Aunt Liz

Hi Granny! I am pretty sad today because my Dad had to leave for Seattle. He won't be back until late Tuesday night. To cheer me up, my Mom took me to see my Uncle Ryan and Aunt Liz. And let me tell you, Granny, I had a great time with Aunt Liz. Here we are still in our pajamas!

Then we played on the floor together.

Here I am showing her my toys.

Then we made up a fun game where I scream and Aunt Liz screams back. We played for a long time.

It was so much fun. I sure do love Aunt Liz.

I Am Six Months Old Today!

Hi Granny! I am six months old today! Can you believe it?

I have grown up so much since I first started writing this blog. Back when I was one month old I couldn't sit, smile, blow raspberries, giggle, or roll over. Now I can do all of those things! Look how little I was at one month.

I look very unhappy there. Now I'm happy all the time!

To celebrate my special day, my Mom and Dad took me out to dinner. Here I am with my Dad. Look at his drink - it looks very refreshing. I'm surprised it didn't come with an umbrella.

Jack the Cat

Hi Granny! We have two cats and up until recently I wasn't really interested in them. But now I realize how cool they are. Here I am with Jack.

I really want to be friends with him. So I tried to cuddle with him.

When that went well, I decided to try to pull on his ear and see if I could put it in my mouth. I figured that if I can put my toys in my mouth I should be able to put my new friend's ear in my mouth.

Jack didn't like it, but understood that I meant him no harm. My Mom explained that we need to touch the cats gently. I don't think she was very happy that I pulled his ear.

Happy Tuesday

Hi Granny! What's up?

I'm just sitting here playing my piano. Now that I can sit up, there are so many fun things to do.

But I still like doing all the things I did before I could sit up. I especially like smiling at the adorable baby in the mirror. I'm still trying to figure out who she is.

Today I also went shopping with my Mom. We had to get caraway seeds so she can make beef on weck tomorrow. The caraway tin is awesome - it makes noises when I shake it. So, I shook it the whole way through the grocery store. I think other people liked the sound because they kept smiling at me and saying hi.

I Can Sit!

Hi Granny! Guess what! I can sit now! I have been working on it for a long time, but would usually fall over after a few seconds. But today I was able to sit up all by myself for 5 minutes. That's a long time.

Granny, can you see my Dad in the background? He didn't think I could do it, so was lurking behind me to catch me if I fell. It is nice to have a dad who is always there to take care of me.

I love you, Granny!

Not Again!

Hi Granny! Last week the Bills lost, so this week I decided to wear my cheerleader outfit and really root my team to victory. Unfortunately, the Bills stink. At least I had fun with Uncle Ryan!

Yom Kippur

Hi Granny! Today is Yom Kippur. We didn't go to services today because my Mom and Dad don't think that I can sit quietly for two hours. They are probably right. So we went to the park instead.

My Mom and Dad brought all of my toys. Here is my ball.

These are my ABCs that Aunt Mira gave me.

This is my horn from Aunt Candace.

My Dad got me this teething ring one day when he went to the drug store. I love it.

When I got tired of playing with my toys I went on the swings with my Dad.

My Dad was a very good sport today. He has been fasting so he is really hungry. I can't wait until he can eat again!

How Does the Remote Work?

Hi Granny! Do you know how this thing works? I feel like if I can learn how to work the remote, I'll have more control over my parents.

I tried turning it over.

Then I tried eating it.

The I tried holding it while eating my hand.

Nothing worked! Maybe it had something to do with my Mom fiddling with the batteries.

Aunt Liz's New Car

Hi Granny! I'm feeling a little silly because I forgot to tell you some cool news. Aunt Liz got a new car! It is a Honda CRV and it is way cool. It even has heated seats! I wish I had a heated seat. Aunt Liz had been driving the same car for 10 years, so it is about time she got a new one.

Hi Granny! Grandpa sent me the pillows that you and Great Mama made for me. I LOVE them. Here is a picture of me with my pillows.

The Bills Did NOT Make Me Wanna Shout

Hi Granny! Yesterday my Mom, Dad and I went to Uncle Ryan and Aunt Liz's house to watch football. Uncle Ryan had a very impressive setup.

Unfortunately, the Bills blew it. Big time. Luckily the Giants won, so the day wasn't a complete wash.

After my bath my Mom tried to put clothes and a diaper on me, but I refused. I totally don't need clothes.

Santa Monica

Hi Granny! Yesterday my Mom, Dad, Aunt Candace and I went to Santa Monica to check out the farmers' market. We bought tons of fruit and veggies.

Next we walked the Santa Monica Pier. It was so cold!

I was very excited to see the ocean.

Then we all went out for lunch at the Broadway Deli. The food looked super good. I can't wait until I can eat real food.

Granny, it was such a long day that I decided to take a nap on the way home.

Aunt Candace is Here!

Hi Granny! This afternoon my Mom and I went to pick up my Aunt Candace. She came all the way from Philadelphia to visit us.

My Mom, Aunt Candace and I went to Victoria Gardens to hang out for a while. My Dad met us there so we could watch the football game. My Mom and Dad are very excited about football starting, though, if you notice, I'm paying attention to the game while my Dad is posing for pictures. Some fan he is...

We decided to watch the rest of the game at home. Here is a picture of me with my Dad and Aunt Candace.

L'Shanah Tovah!

Hi Granny! Happy New Year!

I went to school this afternoon. When my Dad picked me up he said that my friends and I look just like the ladies from The View. Honestly, Granny, I think my friends and I would be much more interesting than Barbara, Joy, and Elisabeth.

When I got home, I found out that my Mom was cooking the whole time I was at school. She made matzo ball soup, Great Mama's challah recipe, my Grammy's brisket and mashed potatoes. It looked delicious.

Don't worry, Granny. Even though the bread and wine was on my tray, I wasn't allowed to have any - and I really, really wanted to.

I love you, Granny!

Party at Uncle Ryan's!

Hi Granny! Today my Mom, Dad and I went to a party at Uncle Ryan's house. I wore the new outfit that he and Aunt Liz bought me. I also wore my Yankee hat because, well, I love the Yankees.

Granny, there were other kids there! It was so much fun. This is my new friend Riley.

Granny, this is Gracie. She is the girl who gave me the idea to write this blog. To thank her, I let her play with Sassy for a little bit. But not too long.

I love you, Granny!
