Last Day of the Year!

Hi Granny! Today is the last day of 2010 - the year I was born! I went over to Uncle Ryan and Liz's house. My Mom gave me my first teething biscuit. It got a little messy.

Good thing Aunt Liz loves me!

After Aunt Liz put my dirty clothes in the washing machine, I hung out by the tree for a bit with Punky.

Then I got busy opening my presents from Aunt Liz and Uncle Ryan.

Granny, they REALLY spoiled me. Check out my new walking toy.

And I can take it for a ride, too!

I love you, Granny! Happy New Year!

Standing

Hi Granny! Ever since I learned how to stand, I've been using whatever I can to stay upright. A chair is a very useful tool.

And while I love to use my Mom as a standing device, she moves around too much for my liking.

The gate is amazingly useful - except for the time it fell when I was using it.

A crib is great fun, though I do get sad when my Mom takes pictures instead of picking me up.

I particularly like the mirror.

Especially because I can give myself kisses while I'm standing.

I love you, Granny!

What a Merry Christmas!

Hi Granny! I'm sorry it has been a few days since I have posted. I've been a little jet lagged from all of the travel. Granny, Christmas was SO much fun. My Mom forgot to bring her camera, so I don't have a lot of photos to share (maybe Grandpa can send me some), but here are some of my favorites from what I do have.

Here I am with Mimi. I had so much fun with her!

Here we are just playing in your bed.

This is Christmas Eve dinner. I spent a lot of it with Nana's bracelet in my mouth. It felt good.

Look at me showing off my standing skills! By the way, the crib tasted great.

Here I am on Christmas morning. I wasn't too impressed by my outfit (though I did look adorable).

This is me with Uncle Brendon opening presents on Christmas morning. I got LOTS of good stuff.

This is me with Kristina. And my ball. I love that ball.

Welcome Home, Granny!

Hi Granny! I was so excited when Grandpa called to tell us you were coming home today! While my Mom and I were waiting for you to come home, Tracy and her Mom came to visit. I had a LOT of fun. We all played on the floor together and I showed them my tricks.

And then, before I knew it, you were home! I was so happy to see you and snuggle with you.

Later on I got to meet my Nana, Papa and Uncle Brendon. We hung out at Aunt Peggy's house. I really like my Uncle Brendon. Granny, he came out to meet us in his flip flops! My Mom makes me wear so many layers of clothes that I can't move my arms - how is THAT fair?

I was very interested in investigating that silver stuff that Uncle Brendon has in his mouth. My Mom called them braces, but it looked a lot like the tinsel that is on the Christmas tree.

And then we snuggled some more!

I love you, Granny!

I'll See You Tomorrow?

Hi Granny! I heard the great news that you might be coming home tomorrow! That means you get to play with me! I can't wait to show you all of my new tricks.

Today my Mom dropped me off at Mimi and Mr. Joe's house so she could go see you in the hospital. They are SO much fun. They even let me try a little bit of an oatmeal cookie! Granny, I have a feeling there are going to be a lot of cookies in my future.

Then my Mom picked me up and took me to Great Mama's house. I played the piano and ate some dinner. I even tried a little bit of the beef from my Mom's beef on weck.

Granny, there are a LOT of good places for me to stand at Great Mama's house. Check me out!

I love you, Granny!

Buffalo, Here I Come!

Hi Granny! This morning my Dad dropped my Mom and me off at the airport. I was SO excited to come see you!

Granny, you'll never believe it. SANTA CLAUS was at the airport! I got my picture taken with him. Unfortunately, the picture they emailed my Mom only shows up really small. But I think you get the idea.

We had lots of delays but finally made it to Buffalo. And Mimi was there to meet us! She played with me while my Mom took care of some boring stuff related to rental cars and suitcases.

I was so happy to see Grandpa when I got to your house. We roughhoused a bit.

Then Grandpa gave me this cool bell and taught me how to use it. I like it a LOT.

Granny, I'm sorry you are in the stupid hospital and not home with us. But don't worry - my Mom and Grandpa are thinking of ways for me to see you. I love you very much and want you to concentrate on getting better so we can play.

I love you, Granny!

Peas are Great!

Hi Granny! I recently received a message from Aunt Nicole telling me about how peas are yucky. I firmly disagree. I thought for Aunt Nicole's sake I should show you how awesome peas are.

First my Mom puts one in front of me.

Then I put it in my mouth.

And then I get to enjoy the delicious sweet pea. Yummy!

I love you, Granny!

Crabby

Hi Granny! I'm a little crabby today. For dinner, my Mom cut up some veggies, chicken and pasta for me, but that was entirely too much work. So I whined until she fed me pureed carrots.

When I was done with the carrots, she gave me a few Cheerios thinking that in my attempt to eat them I might slip up and eat some of the healthy food.

Foiled again, Mom! I picked through and ate all of the Cheerios and didn't eat a single veggie! I'm way smarter than she gives me credit for.

I love you, Granny!

Welcome to the World, Addison

Hi Granny! Today is a great day - I found out that my friend, Annie, had a baby girl. Her name is Addison and I can't wait to meet her. My Mom talked to Annie today and she and Addison are at home, happy and healthy.

I love you, Granny!

Another Win!

Hi Granny! Today we went to Aunt Liz and Uncle Ryan's house to watch the game. I was so excited that the Bills won that I went a little crazy!

I had a lot of fun talking to you on the computer. Here we are waiting for you to log in to the chat.

I had a lot of fun with Aunt Liz and Uncle Ryan today. Their house is all ready for Christmas.

Look!

I love you, Granny!

Hanukkah Day 8

Hi Granny! Last night was the last night of Hanukkah.

Granny, I was really excited about last night's present. I mean, the last gift is always the best, right?

So you will understand that when I opened my gift to find three books that my Mom got in the bargain bin at Target I was not super impressed. I mean, that's great for night three, but night eight?

I even checked with my Dad to see if he was hiding the real present somewhere.

All in all, my first Hanukkah was really special. I loved lighting the candles every night and I loved getting all of the wonderful presents from my family. Next stop - Christmas!

I love you, Granny!

Hanukkah Day 7

Hi Granny! Last night was night 7 of Hanukkah. Only one day left. I've been a little under the weather for the past few days, which is why I'm not wearing any pants. See, I may have made a few pairs of pants too dirty to wear. My Mom is a good sport.

Even though I was sick I got to participate in the festivities. I got ANOTHER present.

This one was pretty cool. I know the shapes are supposed to go in the big block, but they are really too fun to eat to bother with formalities.

I love you, Granny!
