More Decorating

Hi Granny!  Remember how I told you about decorating Christmas cookies with Aunt Liz yesterday?  Just in case you forgot, here's another picture.

Well, I didn't just decorate cookies yesterday.  I also decorated a tree!  Can you imagine that?  Decorating a tree?!  Well, I did.  In case you've never done it, I thought I would walk you through the process.  First, you pick out an ornament.

You have to make sure it's just right.

And double check, just to be sure.

Then you approach the tree.  You have to be very careful.  I know that because my Mom kept saying "be careful" over and over and over.  Ornaments, as I've learned, are very breakable.

Next, you hand it to Aunt Liz.

Then you show her exactly where you want it.

You have to be very specific and watch carefully to make sure she puts it in the right place.

If you aren't happy with the placement, you can always ask her to pick you up and direct her that way.

Decorating Cookies

Hi Granny!  Today I went to visit Aunt Liz and Uncle Ryan.  Aunt Liz baked some cookies, made frosting and had sprinkles so I could do some decorating.

Decorating was fun, but I preferred to eat the frosting.

It was delicious.

Really, really delicious.

Advent Calendar

Hi Granny!  Today is the first day of December, which means that it's time for my advent calendar.  My Mom and I got a kit and made it ourselves.

Well, to be honest, we really just put the felt stickers on.

It looks pretty good, right?

If that wasn't exciting enough, it turns out there was a treat hidden in it for me!  And I get one every single day until Christmas!

My treat was a bag of fruit snacks.  I shared with my Dad.

Bagels

Hi Granny!  I've loved bagels for a really long time.  Like, at least 2 months.  I particularly enjoy blueberry bagels.  Today I discovered that bagels are even better with cream cheese.  The only problem is how to get the cream cheese off the bagel.

I tried a smaller piece, but that was still more work than I liked.

Then I took matters into my own hands and grabbed the cream cheese container.  Problem solved.

Dipping is much easier and much more effective.  I highly recommend it.

Socks Shmocks

Hi Granny!  My Mom told me that when she was growing up you never wore socks.  She said that you hated them and much preferred to be barefoot.  I'm with you, Granny.  My little piggies are much happier sock-free.  Since I have a lot of socks, I needed to find something to do with them.  It is important to not be wasteful.  I found the perfect place for those pesky socks - on my hands.

It's easy to get the first one on, but the second one is a little bit trickier.

There we go.  Perfection!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi Granny!  Happy Thanksgiving!  I love Thanksgiving.  It's all about food and family - my two favorite things.  When I woke up this morning, my Mom was already baking pies.  I wanted to help, but my Mom had something else in mind.  She let me bake my own pie!

It was a Sabrina-sized peach pie.  I sneaked a couple of tastes before we popped it in the oven.

Granny, there was a long time between pie baking and eating dinner, so I decided to take a little rest by the couch.

Finally it was time to eat.  And boy did we eat.

It was all so delicious that I kept sneaking bites of turkey even after I was done.

Then it was time to try the pie I made.

I don't think I am a big fan of pie yet, but it sure was fun to play with.

Party at My Gym

Hi Granny!  Yesterday was my friend Angelina's birthday and she had a party at My Gym.  My Gym is this really cool place that has lots of places for little kids like me to climb and jump and run and play.  In other words, it is toddler heaven.  Here I am sharing a ball with the birthday girl.

Speaking of balls, they had a huge pit full of them!  I jumped in over and over again.  It didn't even matter that I would cry as soon as I got stuck.  I just couldn't stop myself.

Angelina and I took a turn on the trampoline.  We weren't entirely sure what to do, so we just sat there for a bit.

All in all, it was a great time.  Here are all of the partiers.

Jamming

Hi Granny!  Yesterday I went to see my friends Heath and Benny.  I was really happy to see them.  They are both very strong and each took a turn picking me up.  Here I am with Benny.

And here I am with Heath.

Heath has the coolest bed ever.  When I move into a big girl bed, I hope it's just like this one.

Granny, Heath and Benny have lots of instruments.  They even let me play them.  I was very good at the drums.

And the piano was really cool.  Heath and Benny's mom, Gabby, showed me the ropes.

Granny, I partied like crazy and didn't get to bed until 8:30!  I love late nights!  Here is a little video of me playing the drums.

The Aquarium

Hi Granny!  My Mom, Dad and I went somewhere really cool yesterday - the aquarium!  There are millions of fish there.  Did you know that fish say blub?

There were also sea lions dancing and playing.  They looked like they were having as much fun as I was.

My Dad and I even got to touch some sharks!  Don't worry, Granny, they were very little sharks.  They don't bite.

We also got to see a HUGE crab.  He was standing right there!

Once we were done looking at all of the sea animals, I got to ride a dolphin.  It wasn't a real dolphin, but it was still pretty cool.

On the way out I decided to donate some of my pocket change to the fish.  It's good to donate to good causes.

Pump It Up!

Hi Granny!  My friend Tanner and I went to Pump It Up today with our Moms.  Granny, that place is really cool.  There are big bouncy houses that you can kick balls around in.

I ran around and around and around.

I had to stop pretty often to rest.  Running can be very exhausting.

But not too exhausting to climb through a tunnel!

I love you, Granny!
