Helping

Hi Granny!  My Mom has a lot going on, so I try to help out as often as possible.

She is constantly loading and unloading the dishwasher, so this seems like the perfect way to chip in.  So, when I saw all of the bottles of drinks, I decided to load them up.

Loganberry, apple juice, cranberry juice - I'll get them all clean.

And, as my Mom is always telling my Dad, it is important to load the dishwasher properly.  Everything can fit if you put it in right.

All clean!

Hose

Hi Granny!  Something I learned early on was that the best toys are the ones that your Mom and Dad don't realize are fun.  Like this hose.

Do you want to play?

Hummus

Hi Granny!  My Mom's camera on her phone is broken, so we have been reduced to taking pictures on the computer.  This seriously limits my possible discussions, but we made it work.

Have I ever told you how much I love hummus?

It is delicious.

Unfortunately, there never seems to be enough.

I even tried licking the bowl.

Can SOMEONE get me some more hummus?  Please?

Bikes

Hi Granny!  Have you ever seen a bike?  Well, up until today, I hadn't.

Bikes are really cool.  So, why is it that I don't have one?  Why do I have to use my friend Valerie's?  This strikes me as completely unfair.

You know what else is unfair?  The fact that Yuko is the one who has to push me around in it.  Shouldn't my Mom be doing it?

Garage - Where All My Toys Go

Hi Granny!  Ever since we moved, I have been missing some of my toys.  My Mom told me they went "bye, bye" because I'm not a baby anymore.  Well, Granny, today I found out she was fibbing.  I went into the garage and to my surprise, I found my exersaucer!

I was SO happy to see it.  I spent a lot of good times in it.  I was ready to jump right in when I saw that my seat is now being occupied by some Bush's Baked Beans.  Now, I like beans as much as the next guy, but must they take up my seat?

I finally got over my distress when I found my bouncer!  Another beloved toy wasting away in the garage.

Well, at least they are not alone.  There is plenty of Diet Coke to keep them company.

All Star Week

Hi Granny!  It is All Star week, and I am ready.

Looks good, right?

Even though he isn't playing, I have to support David Wright.  Tomorrow I will be supporting the Yankees.  That's because my Mom dresses me.  And because I love the Yankees.  Did I mention that my Mom also types this?

Colic

Hi Granny!  Something both my Mom and I like to do is go to the playground with our friends.  It can get a little rowdy, Granny, with all of the adults and kids playing.

One of the things the adults like to do is complain about the kids.  In fact, Granny, I daresay that is the thing they most like to do.  Especially about something called colic.  Pfft.  They think it was tough on them, WE are the ones who were dealing with it.  They should get over it.

Peyton and I were terribly upset by our Moms, so we sought comfort in each other.

Tanner and I talked it out while I was sitting on Tracy's lap.  Tracy is pretty cool - she doesn't complain about colic AND she had goldfish.  Excellent.

Philadelphia and New Jersey, Part 2

Hi Granny!  I thought you might like to hear a little more about my big adventure.  Well, one of the best things was getting to see some of my baby friends.  I got to meet Zoey, who was only born last month!  Granny, I was NEVER that small.  I know that because my Mom said so.  Of course, she always says that when babies are around, so I don't know whether or not to believe her.

I also got to see my old pal Lily.  It was great to catch up with her.  We went to the zoo and looked at all of the animals.  Granny, it's crazy.  Last time I saw Lily, we were just babies.  Now we can both walk and climb and do lots of cool things.  Even though we can walk, we let our Moms push us around a little.  It is important to make them feel needed once in a while.

Lily and I let our parents take us out for lunch after the zoo.  We went out for barbecue and it was delicious.  I think that Lily and I were both trying to impress the other because we both ate a LOT.

Philadelphia and New Jersey, Part 1

Hi Granny!  Remember how I told you that I was going on an adventure?  Well, I did and it was great.  I got to see all of my Bogatz and Szwartz family.

Here I am with my Grammy in New Jersey.  She bought me a cool new toy, but we spent most of our time playing with all of the cool bowls and spoons she has in her kitchen.  We did a lot of pretend baking together.

Here I am with Grandpa Harold.  We decided to dress like twins one day.  You can't see it here, but we are even wearing the same shorts!

I spent a lot of time with my Aunt Lynda.  She's really cool and even has a chair just my size.  It is great for sitting around and having a serious talk with my aunt.

Granny, Aunt Lynda and Uncle Greg have a playground in their back yard!  It's crazy!  Uncle Greg took Tillie and me on a special ride.

I also got dressed up all fancy one night to go out and celebrate my Aunt Candace's engagement to St. Bub (soon to be Uncle Brian).  All of us Bogatz and Szwartz ladies looked fantastic and had a blast.

I love you, Granny!
