Dress Up

Hi Granny!  My friend Sophia gave me some of her old dress up clothes to play with.  Since tomorrow is Halloween and Uncle Ryan and Aunt Liz were over, I thought it was the perfect time to play dress up.  I started by dressing up as Tinkerbell.

I think I make a very cute fairy.

Then I decided to become Minnie Mouse.

But I wasn't too sure about the ears.

I took a quick break to go swimming.  Don't worry, I remembered the sunscreen.

And then it was time for the best costume of all - the one you and Great Mama made me.  I love being a lion.

I hope they let me out of my cage!

Spooky Story Hour

Hi Granny!  Today my Mom, Dad and I went to spooky story hour at Barnes & Noble.

I was really excited because Miss Karen was reading "Good Night Moon," which is one of my favorite books.

Then I realized she was reading "Good Night Goon," which is very different than my favorite book.  So I decided to go get the right book.

I got really excited when she started passing out treats.

But was then pretty bummed when it turned out to be candy that I'm not big enough to eat yet.

When it was all over, I decided to take a turn on the stage.

Pumpkin Patch

Hi Granny!  Valerie and I went to the pumpkin patch today!  Okay, it was all of playschool that went (even the big kids), but I got to hang out with my friend a lot.  Our class went last, which made no sense because we're the littlest, so Valerie and I had to discuss what to do to keep ourselves busy.

Once we saw the playground, it was a no brainer.

That tired us out, so we decided to take a little rest.

Then I got distracted by a huge tree.  I figured that since it was so big it deserved some applause.

Then it was finally our turn and well worth the wait.  I got to see some pigs up close.  Granny, there was a mommy pig with three little babies.  They were so cute.

We saw lots of animals - chickens and turkeys and goats!  Then I took a break to pose for some pictures.

Then I got to pick my own pumpkin!  I'm a big girl now and insisted on carrying my own pumpkin.

Then it was time to decorate.  I got very creative.

Sunday Visit

Hi Granny!  Today my Mom and I went out on the town with Aunt Liz.  We went to the Farmers' Market where we got lots of good fruit.  Then we went to Porto's to order some lunch.

The lady at the counter was super nice.  She even gave me a big cookie!  It was chocolate chip and lots of the chocolate ended up on my face.

And what tastes great after a chocolate chip cookie?  A nice cup of milk.

Making Dinner

Hi Granny!  I made pot roast tonight!  Well, technically my Mom helped, but I really did most of the work. I really like cooking dinner.  Especially when I get to stir all of the ingredients up.

It's also fun to taste the ingredients before putting them into the pot.  Carrots sure are yummy!

But the best part of making dinner is eating it with my Mom and Dad.

My Daddy

Hi Granny!  I sure do love my Dad.  I like to look at his face.

And give him hugs.

And kisses.

We really are best friends.

Awwww, Poppy!

Hi Granny!  I love Poppy.  I especially love to say "awwww, Poppy!"

Sometimes we like to go night night together.

Or just cuddle side by side.

A House Divided

Hi Granny!  Today was the kind of day that thankfully happens only every 4 years.  The kind of day that pits my Mom against my Dad.  The kind of day where one person ends up happy and the other sad.  The kind of day when the Bills play the Giants.  I knew who I was rooting for.

We went to Aunt Liz and Uncle Ryan's house to watch the game.  When it started to get a little tense, I decided to join Aunt Liz and read some books.

After we read lots of books, I took advantage of my Mom and Dad being distracted by the game.  Doritos?  Yes, please!  I managed to stuff a few in my mouth before they could stop me.

In fact, they were so good that I just HAD to share them with Punky.

My Favorite Breakfast

Hi Granny!  I have a new favorite breakfast.  It is yogurt, strawberries and a waffle.

The yogurt is my favorite part.  It is equal parts delicious and messy.

I get a little sad when the yogurt is all gone.

But then I can turn my attention to the waffle.

Boy is it delicious.

Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day

Hi Granny!  Today is a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day.  Why?  Because when I woke up, I found out that my Dad was out of town.  I was sad, but at least Katy was there to play with me!  But then Katy started to pack up all of her stuff in suitcases and I knew the worst was yet to come.  I tried really hard to stop it.  I kept pulling her clothes out and closing the suitcase, but it didn't work.  So now it's just me and my Mom.  And I'm sad.

I love you, Granny!

Kitty!

Hi Granny!  I'm sorry that I haven't posted in a long time.  My friend is visiting and we have been VERY busy playing.  Her name is Katy, but I call her Kitty, and she came all the way from New Zealand just to see me.  We have been doing lots of things together.  The other day I took her to the playground to meet my friends.

I showed her my favorite little house there.

And how to take a little rest on the climbing ladder.

She pushed me on the swings for a bit.

But then I got tired of the adults and decided to hang with my friends for a bit.

We were feeling very artsy.

I love you, Granny!
