Christmas Eve

Hi Granny!  It's Christmas Eve!  You know what that means?  Santa comes tonight!  My Mom, Daddy and I went out to dinner with Aunt Liz and Uncle Ryan.  There was a dance floor, so my Daddy and I decided to give it a whirl.

Uncle Ryan and I had a lot of fun during dinner.

When dinner was over, we posed for some family pictures.  Here I am with Uncle Ryan and Aunt Liz.

And here's the whole crew.

When we got home, I decorated cookies for Santa and put out peanuts for the reindeer.  I'm especially fond of Rudolph, so I put out one bowl for him and one for the rest.

Then I spent some time with Toto.  Marissa and Shelly found him outside and his parents aren't answering the phone.  So, he's going to spend Christmas at our house.

I love you, Granny!

Christmas Time

Hi Granny!  Since returning from home from Buffalo, I've been very busy celebrating Christmas.  I went to a cookie decorating party with my Mom at Playschool.

Santa Claus came and gave me a book!  I'm still not into sitting on his lap, but I do think he's pretty cool.  From far away.

My Mom and I threw a cookie decorating party for my friends at school.

I'm pretty sure that I had the best decorated cookies.

Today we had a party at my school.

We sang some songs.

My Trip

Hi Granny!  I know I haven't blogged in a while, but I'm still getting over the jet lag from the trip home.  I thought we could use this post to show a little bit of what I did on the trip to Buffalo.  From the minute Aunt Mira met us at the airport, it was jam packed.

I celebrated the last two nights of Hanukkah.

Brushed up on my piano playing.

Had a tea party.

Hung out with Mimi.

And Joe.

Drove a train.

Did Great Mama's laundry.

By the time I got on the airplane, I just needed a nap.

I love you, Granny!

Hanukkah: Day 6

Hi Granny!  Tonight was the sixth night of Hanukkah.

I decided to spend it with Tanner.  We danced.

We ate.

We hugged.

I love you, Granny!  I'll see you tomorrow!

Hanukkah: Day 5

Hi Granny!  Chivalry is not dead.  Wednesdays are jumping days and everyone knows you can't wear your shoes while you jump.  As soon as we got there, Tanner sat me down, took off my shoes and put them in the cubby.

Tanner also shared his toys with me and showed me how to make the car go really far down the street.

Tanner's very kind to me.  I think it's because we are such good friends.

Tonight was the fifth night of Hanukkah.  I simply could not wait to open my present.  Forget my Mom and her pictures.

I love you, Granny!

Hanukkah: Day 4

Hi Granny!  I got to go to the book store today!  Do you know what my favorite thing is to do at the book store?  Put on a show on the stage.

My second favorite thing is to read all of the books.

Tonight is the fourth night of Hanukkah.

Granny, it was my best present yet!  It is a crib, stroller and high chair for Marla.  The high chair will be especially useful for my Mom since I make her feed Marla every morning.

Hanukkah: Day 3

Hi Granny!  Today I threw a Hanukkah party at my school.  We lit the menorah, played dreidel, read Hanukkah books and ate some latkes.  Everyone had a very good time.

When we got home, we lit the menorah.

Then it was time to open presents.

Cootie?  I tried to grab another present to open, but my Mom wouldn't allow it.  I mean, Cootie?

I love you, Granny!

Hanukkah: Day 2

Hi Granny!  We went to Uncle Ryan's and Aunt Liz's house for a little tree and cookie decorating.  Aunt Liz made me lots of cookies to decorate and even made green, blue and red icing.

I got pretty good at it.

But Aunt Liz was there to help when things got a little tough.

We got home in time to light the Hanukkah candles.

They sure look beautiful.

You know what else looked beautiful?  Me!  In my new jewelry.

I love you, Granny!

Hanukkah: Day 1

Hi Granny!  Today was the first day of Hanukkah.  We pulled out the menorah and I picked out two candles to put in.

It looks even more beautiful when the candles are lit.

The best part?  I get a present EVERY night!  This is my kind of holiday.

I love you, Granny!

Hailey's House

Hi Granny!  My friend Hailey and I had a great time together at her house.  I love going there because she has so many cool toys.  I particularly love riding this horse.

But I really love the girl talk.  Hailey and I can just talk and talk and talk.

She also let me try on all of her jewelry.

Then we had a lovely snack while discussing current events - like her Elf on the Shelf.

I love you, Granny!

Another Haircut

Hi Granny!  Did you know that up until today I had only had one haircut?  It's true.  So, my Mom and I decided that today was the day to remedy that.  We hopped on over to Cool Cuts for Kids and jumped back into the same red truck I rode in last time.

I have to say, I'm pretty good at getting haircuts.  And driving firetrucks.

She did a really good job on my hair, but for some inexplicable reason she stuck a purple flower in the front of my head (okay, maybe I asked for a purple flower, but the placement was unacceptable).

No worries, though.  Within 10 minutes the flower was out and I was eating my bribe, I mean my donut.

I love you, Granny!
