Pomona Pumpkin Patch

Hi Granny!  Today my Mom, Dad and I went to the Pomona pumpkin patch.  There was so much to do there that I wasn't sure where to start.

I started off with eating.  They had a pancake breakfast, but I was partial to the scrambled eggs.

Then I hugged a tiger.  I'm still not sure what a tiger has to do with pumpkins, but it was pretty cool to see him.

I spent some time on a tractor.  I had originally planned to ride a horse, but once I heard that my Dad couldn't come with me, I bailed.  He and I have been planning to go together for ages and I really didn't want to hurt his feelings.

Then I fed some animals.  That is, I tried to feed the animals.  Granny, those goats, sheep, bunnies and pigs had already been fed by roughly 654 children.  By the time I got there, they weren't interested anymore.

We went to the pumpkin patch to pick out the perfect pumpkin.

This one was the winner.

Then I did a little fishing and it was time to go home.

Where we made Halloween cupcakes.  After all, I AM your granddaughter and know very well that no day is complete without something sweet to eat.

I love you, Granny!
